Salt of the sea

Salt of the sea

Solo Sea Salt contains 60 per cent less sodium in every grain than ordinary table salt, as it is a natural mineral sea salt from Icelandic seas.

Each grain of salt also contains potassium, magnesium and micro minerals naturally occurring in sea water. It has no bitter aftertaste and has a full salt flavour.

This means it is a popular choice for health conscious customers, especially as it is endorsed by doctors, dieticians, nutritionists and chefs and recommended by the British Cardiac Patients Association.

What's more, Solo Sea Salt can be used in cooking to replace ordinary salt in all recipes as it dissolves four times faster than table salt. It also reduces proving time in baking, which saves on yeast.

The salt is available in single serve sachets - 1 x 1000 x 1g/sachet in a carton or 250 x 1g sachet polybag (packed x 4). Bulk catering packs are in 1 x 2kg in re-sealable cartons.
