Sehgals buy the Leonard

The Leonard, one of London's best-known privately owned townhouse hotels, has been sold for about £14m.

The 44-bedroom hotel and the five-apartment Leonard Residence opposite have both been sold to the Sehgal family, who own the nearby 164-bedroom Holiday Inn.

The Leonard was opened in January 1996 and comprises four Georgian townhouses.

Knight Frank was the agent.
