Self-cleaning gets high rating at safari park

THE many visitors this summer to the new Safari Restaurant at Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire gained from the addition of two combi-ovens in the park's new kitchens, which were refurbished at a cost of £875,000 to keep pace with fast growing attendance and increased function business.

Food handled in the two Rational ClimaPlus ranges from family snacks such as chicken nuggets and baked potatoes to roast joints, curries and banquet meals.

As well as suiting a wide range of menus, the combi-ovens are highly rated by Woburn kitchen staff for their ability to reach a very high temperature (300¼C or more).

Rational is operating a series of road shows of its ClimaPlus ovens around the UK.

The Cooking Live ‘test drives' take place at venues around the country until December 1999.

ClimaPlus ovens are priced from £6,379 for a six-grid electric model.
