Sex-party dinner lady moved

A dinner lady who talked about her unconventional sex life to a women's magazine has been moved from her job in a Catholic convent school by her contract caterer employers.

Cath Irvine, 27, had been working at Mount Carmel School in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, for Manchester-based Fairfield Catering, Granada's school contract catering arm.

She was transferred after she appeared in a double-page article in Chat magazine describing how she and her husband spiced up their love life by attending partner-swapping parties.

Granada said that while Irvine had not named her workplace in the article, this detail had been picked up by the local press. A spokeswoman stressed that Granada was not standing in judgement of Irvine, but felt it inappropriate for her to remain in the school's "very Christian environment". Irvine has since been switched to a non-school job.
