Slip-resistant walkway enters the Essex races

The Coral Romford greyhound stadium in Essex has introduced Crossgrip self draining PVC matting in its busy restaurant to provide staff with a slip-resistant walkway. The flooring has been purchased as an answer to accidents and spillages in the kitchen and servery areas. The restaurant caters for up to 250 people at a time on race days.

The matting, more typically used on roofs to provide high slip resistance in all weathers, is supplied in 10m rolls and standard widths of 60 and 91 cm and can be easily removed for cleaning the floor.
