Sodexho wins £1.5m deal
Sodexho's hotel and commercial restaurant division has won a three-year contract worth £1.5m in annual turnover to provide hotel services including food and beverage for Prince Hotels' 96-bedroom Boundary hotel in Walsall, West Midlands.
Sodexho already provides complete hotel management for Prince Hotels' other properties, the 40-bedroom Comfort Inn in Birmingham and 80-bedroom Stonebridge Manor in Coventry (Caterer, 24 August 2000, page 6).
The division, created some 18 months ago, also provides food and beverage services to 44 Friendly Hotels properties and operates four Rhodes restaurants. It recently won a five-year contract worth £3.9m in annual turnover to run eight customer and six staff restaurants for the Bentalls retail chain (Caterer, 29 March, page 10).
