Soft servings

A new system for dispensing portions of soft ice-cream from pre-packed cartridges is now available from Unice International, originators of the One-Shot ice-cream dispensing system. Called Solomia Soft, the new unit incorporates a base storage cabinet to hold the ice-cream portions at correct temperature with a dispensing unit on top.

Each pre-packed 165ml cartridge takes the form of a disposable tub with a star-shaped extrusion nozzle sealed by a tear-off tab. When this is removed and the cartridge inserted into the top of the machine, a pull of the handle is sufficient to force out all of the ice cream, softening it in the process. At no time does product contact any part of the machine, ensuring optimum hygiene. One-Shot cartridges can be filled with all kinds of ice cream, frozen yoghurt and sherbet including varieties with choc-chips, nuts and multiple flavours .
