The new Unger 8oz Cumberland Rings from Freshbake Foods can be served in many different ways - as all day breakfasts, as a new twist on traditional sausage and mash or as a takeaway item.
A wooden skewer holds each 12in long sausage together, maintaining the traditional Cumberland shape during shallow frying, grilling or oven cooking. Available packed 18 to the case at £1 per sausage.
Also from Freshbake Foods are Halal sausages under the Unger brand.
Freshbake Foods underwent considerable research to source sausage casings which meet every aspect of halal requirements.
The company was awarded its first halal licence following inspections by officials from the Halal Food Authority (HFA).
