Spray it clean

An anti-bacterial surface cleaner for food preparation areas and, in particular, digital thermometers and probes, has been introduced under the name Bacti-Clean. The spray-type cleaner is claimed to be taint-free, ozone friendly and able to kill 99.9 per cent of food spoilage organisms within one minute of application.
Other applications include scales, work surfaces, counters, tiles chill cabinets and refrigerators. Price is £3.25 for a one-litre spray bottle.
