Spring turns up heat

Swiss company Spring has a new range of cookware on the market designed for use on both induction and traditional hobs. Manufactured from a multiply material, the pans consist of five layers of metal: an outer layer of stainless steel or copper; a three-ply core of aluminium, and on the inside a salt- and acid-resistant layer of 18/10 stainless steel. This combination offers the efficient conductivity of aluminium and the durability of stainless steel. The material also means that heat is transferred evenly around the pan, ideal for liquid mass such as sauces and soups. There are 26 products in the range, from a 16cm low saucepan to a 24cm deep casserole.
