Stormont woos business women
Belfast's Stormont Hotel, part of the Hastings Hotels Group, has launched what it claims is the first hospitality package in Ireland aimed exclusively at business women.
The 106-bedroom hotel has introduced specially equipped bedrooms with spy-holes, electronic keys and deadbolts, and in-room facilities such as turbo-hairdryers.
In addition, room numbers are no longer announced at check-in and a "social table" is reserved in the restaurant where business women can network.
The initiative follows Expotel's recent survey indicating that women will constitute 50% of all business guests by 2000.
