Sty-Al loses two to receivership

Two of the three hotels that formed London-based chain Sty-Al Hoteliers have been put into receivership.

The 42-bedroom Byron Hotel and 43-bedroom Hotel Tria, both freeholds, went into receivership with Price Waterhouse earlier this month.

The 65-bedroom, long leasehold Royal Norfolk Hotel will continue to be run by Sty-Al managing director, David Andrews. "We suffered because room rates had to be marked down," said Mr Andrews.
