Sudeley Castle restaurant gets thumbs-down from council

Plans by owner Henry Dent-Brocklehurst to open a 170-seat restaurant in the grounds of Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire to help finance its upkeep have been rejected by local councillors.

Now the godson of Camilla Parker Bowles must hope that the area planning authority overrides the objections when it meets in September.
