Tamarind branches out into events catering

Tamarind, one of London's leading Indian restaurants, has launched an outdoor catering and events service.

The restaurant's new division plans to cater for a wide range of events, including corporate functions, weddings, lunches and receptions. It will be hoping it can replicate the same standard of north-west Indian cuisine that has won the restaurant a Michelin star for the third consecutive year.

Sabrina Ghayour, the event sales manager, said that each occasion would be tailored to suit the client's needs. "I think we can surprise people with how versatile and innovative our cuisine and services can be."

The event menu will offer both classic and contemporary options, deriving from the "Moghul" cuisine of north-west India.
