Thatched Devon pub changes hands

The Chasers Arms pub in the village of Stokeinteignhead, Devon, has been sold for more than £500,000. The freehold on the Grade-II listed property was bought by Simon and Alison Ede, who have been in the licensed trade for decades and own another pub in Devon. The thatched property dates from 1534 and includes a 70-seat restaurant, a three-bedroom apartment for the owners and a garden that seats 20. The agent was Bettesworths.
