The Gardener's Arms in Coniston, near Hull, has been sold for nearly £350,000 to Yorkshire-based pub group MGR Leisure. The new owner is planning an extension to include letting bedrooms. MGR also owns the 14-bedroom Herriots hotel in Skipton, Yorkshire, and the 28-bedroom Pearson Park hotel in Hull. Robert Barry & Co was the agent.
