Tower dining venues set to open at last

The historic Armouries Building at the Tower of London is to open this week as a restaurant, banqueting hall and conference room - three months later than planned.

The £6m refurbishment project was due to be completed in October last year, but the completion date had to be put back to 15 January due to building delays.

Once open, it will have a 200-seat restaurant, banqueting hall to cater for 240 people seated, conference room for 100 delegates and 15-seat boardroom.

It will be the Tower's first restaurant in its 900-year history, and will be managed and run by Digby Trout Restaurants.
