Treasury agrees Forward sale

SUTCLIFFE Catering chief executive Don Davenport is scheduled to visit the Treasury's offices in Whitehalltomorrow to complete the purchase of civil service caterer Forward (Caterer, 27 January).
A spokesman for Sutcliffe said the terms of the deal had now been agreed, contracts were about to be signed, and that formal handover had been set at 14 February.
He declined to reveal the purchase price, although sources close to Forward cited a figure of about £4.5m.
