Turner to stay in London after Chelsea restaurant sale

Chef Brian Turner is selling his Turner's restaurant in Chelsea, London.

Turner said he had exchanged contracts for the 52-seat restaurant in Walton Street, but the sale had not completed.

He plans to open another restaurant in the capital.

Turner said: "We are not prepared to say any more at the moment. It could still go wrong."

The restaurant, which Turner has run since 1986, has closed. Providing the deal goes through, it will become a bar.

The agents involved are Berkeley Simmons Davis and Knight Frank.
