UK Trophée Gosset Celebris 2005 kicks off

This year's search for the UK restaurants which best capitalise on their champagne is again on, as the 2005 UK Trophée Gosset Celebris kicks off.

The competition will for the first time recognise the wine lists of two restaurants: one in London (for establishments within the M25), and one from outside the capital.

The competition, established by Champagne Gosset six years ago, places strong emphasis on the range of Champagnes available and how it is matched with menus. It also takes in to account the balance and structure of the wine list as a whole.

The Trophée Gosset Celebris is open to anybody combining top-notch food with quality wine, including bistros and pubs. Closing date for entries is 28 April.

For more information contact gosset@golleyslater.co.uk or talk to Alison Jee at Golley Slater on 020 7928 7300.
