UK's biggest catering show
IF YOU work in the catering industry and are not planning to attend World of Hospitality 94, check your pulse. You may be dead.
There has never before been a hospitality industry exhibition with such a range of new products to review and savour.
Manufacturers and suppliers have stored upa wealth of product development, not onlysince the last Hotelympia, but from the beginning of the recession.
This surge of innovation coincides with the shift of the show that we used to call Hotelympia, from Olympia to nearby Earls Court. In its glamorous new venue, the show will be segmented into equipment (Hotelympia), food (Food and Drink Forum) and interiors (Interiors Expo), making the event easy to explore and get around.
At the heart of the show is La Parade des Chefs, a unique waterside restaurant where you will be able to look at, learn about and eat top chefs' creations; Le Salon Culinaire International de Londres will also give you a chance to see some challenging dishes created in live theatre.
World of Hospitality is the biggest catering exhibition ever staged in the UK. It is hard to thinkof any significant supplier to the caterer and hotelier who will not be there. I can promise you that whether your interest is ice sculpture or ice makers, kitchen or front of house design, or the very latest in equipment or technology, you will find much to enthral you.
We hope that this preview issue of Caterer will give you a flavour of what to expect at the show. But to get full value out of your attendance I do recommend that you invest in a show catalogue. Copies of the catalogue will be on sale at the show for £3. It will enable you to identify quickly the products you want to see and help you to find the stands - and because there are over 800 exhibitors, you will be able to use it as a comprehensive buyers directory throughout the year.
Caterer & Hotelkeeper's stand number is G230 within Interiors Expo and I hope that you will stop by and have a chat to the team who produce the magazine every week. We will be delighted to see you.
If you're still not sure whether to visit Earls Court, make sure you check that pulse. o
