The Old Church House Inn in Torbryan, near Newton Abbot in Devon, has been sold to industry newcomers Richard and Carolyn McFadyen for about £850,000. The inn has 13 bedrooms and an 80-seat restaurant. Robert Barry & Co was the agent.

The Floating Bridge pub in Dartmouth, Devon, has been sold to first-time pub buyers Jim and Gay Brent for more than £125,000. The riverside property has two bars and a restaurant/function room, seating about 35 each. Christie & Co was the agent.
