HULL'S most distinctive burger restaurant, the three-year-old Yankee Burger, a piece of pseudo-1950s design, now boasts a drive-through attachment, courtesy of original designers Lachlan Munro and Weng Lin Hung at London consultancy Creation.

But this is no ordinary attachment - the new addition is flagged up with New York traffic lights, bright neon signs, flashing arrows and original-looking US road signs and barriers. Says owner John Science: "We've even had film companies approach us asking to use it for sets, because they've seen nothing else like it on the planet."
