Vienna group of hotels

The Vienna Group of Hotels, owner of the London Burns Hotel, has asked us to state that it strongly disputes the news story headed "Sacked night manager threatens court action in fire safety row" (Caterer, 6 November, page 7).
The Vienna group says that there was no foundation to any suggestion that an employee had been dismissed due to a fire safety row or that the attitude of all Vienna staff towards fire safety is anything but serious and responsible.
