The new restaurant is part of the expanding chain, which now has 14 outlets in the capital, another five outside and franchises in Dublin, Amsterdam and Sydney. Wagamama specialises in healthy, fast, freshly cooked pan-Asian food. The restaurants typically serve 2,500 customers a week, with an average spend of £11.25. Further outlets are planned for Guildford in Surrey, opening in May, and its biggest ever in London's Canary Wharf in the autumn, serving 254 covers.
