Welsh occupancy continues to recover

Bedroom occupancy in Welsh hotels continues to make significant progress and was four percentage points higher in December 1995 than in the same month a year earlier.

And when compared with 1991 and 1992, December's bedroom occupancy in 1995 of 41% was a dramatic 10 percentage points higher.

The average bedroom occupancy in the whole of 1995 was 55.5%, up 4.6 percentage points on the whole of 1994. Bedspace occupancy was up three percentage points to 42.4%.
