Winning new products

An egg pasteuriser, a tableware range, a replacement for gelatine and a prepay television system for hotels have triumphed in the New Product Awards competition at Hotelympia.

The winners were picked from four categories: food and drink; interiors and tableware; catering equipment; and one from the technology exhibition at Hotelympia, Hostec.

Top in the food and drink category was the Beurre de Cacao Mycryo, from chocolate company Barry Callebaut.

In the interiors and tableware group the judges chose the 70-piece Orientix range from Elia as the winner, while in the Hostec section the Smoovie TV system from Airwave Europe took the title. The winner in the catering equipment category was the Pollux egg pasteuriser from Bright Equipment.
