Zander renames after Bank move

Zander restaurant in London has been renamed Bank Westminster as part of the reorganisation of the ownership of the restaurants in the Bank groups.

Tony Allan, chairman of BGR (Bank Group Restaurants), sold Zander, along with his Bank restaurant in London's Aldwych and Bank restaurant in Birmingham, to the similarly-named Bank Restaurant Group, in which Allan is also a major shareholder. The businesses left in the old BGR are all Fish! restaurants and, in the spring, BGR is due to be renamed Fish restaurant group to reflect its aim of extending that chain.
