Globy Ouseph joins InterContinental London – The O2 as GM

Both the 453-bedroom InterContinental London - The O2 and the 518-bedroom Sofitel London Gatwick are operated by the Arora Group under franchise agreements with InterContinental Hotels Group and AccorHotels, respectively.

InterContinental London - The O2 opened in 2016 with Hasham Soliman as general manager, who has now left to open Marriott International's Dixon hotel, which is opening later this year under its Autograph Collection.

Before he joined the Sofitel London Gatwick as general manager, Ouseph held roles within Arora Hotels including director of food and beverage and hotel manager at the Sofitel London Heathrow. Prior to joining Arora Hotels, he held various roles in Hilton, specifically at the Waldorf Hilton in London.

Vincent Madden, director of hotel operations at the Arora Group, said: "Globy is highly skilled at developing key business goals whilst also inspiring his team and ensuring that customer service remains paramount."

Ouseph said: "This is a fantastic luxury hotel in an amazing location and I'm very much looking forward to bringing my communication skills, leadership and enthusiasm for the hotel and hospitality sector to this new challenge."
