Tender: Brand new café in Abney Park

Hackney Council seeks expressions of interest from companies with turnover in excess of £100,000 per annum for the operation of a brand new café in Abney Park, Stoke Newington.

The new cafe and community space has been built as part of a £5m National Lottery Heritage Fund and Hackney Council-funded project to improve Abney Park. The opportunity is for the right operator to operate Abney Park Cafe (class E) and to manage the adjoining Community Room (class F1/F2).

The appointed operator may also have the opportunity to cater for functions within Abney Park Chapel. The five-year lease, which will be awarded following competitive tender, will commence in early 2024.
