American furniture brand RH launches first UK hospitality outpost

American homeware and lifestyle brand RH has opened its first overseas hospitality outpost in the UK in the form of the Gallery at Aynho Park in Oxfordshire and revealed intentions for "expansion across Europe".

RH England, as the site is also known, features three restaurants: the Orangery for live-fire cooking, the Loggia for wood-fired pizzas and the Conservatory, an American bistro, which is due to open in the autumn.

Guests to the Gallery can also experience the Juicery and the Wine Lounge and Tea Salon.

Aynho Park was first built in 1615 and was later expanded by British architect Sir John Soane in the early 19th century, who has a dedicated exhibition space in the Gallery.

The estate spans across 73 acres and consists of 60 rooms, which have now been furnished with collections from RH Interiors and a variety of antique and contemporary art.

RH also has a hotel arm, RH Guesthouse, which first launched last September in New York.

Gary Friedman, RH chairman and chief executive, said: "We are both proud and humbled to introduce RH to the UK in what we hope will be an inspiring and unforgettable fashion, and to fully open Aynho Park to the public for the first time in its history."

"We believe RH England represents our greatest work to date and will serve as a symbol of our values and beliefs as we embark on our expansion across Europe."
