Michelin-starred Carters of Moseley to relocate for the summer

Michelin-starred Birmingham restaurant Carters of Moseley is to relocate its entire team and operations to Evesham for a "minimum" of three months this summer.

The restaurant will move to the home of Westlands, its supplier of edible herbs, flowers and plants, and operate out of one of its glasshouses between 19 July and September.

Surrounded by living herbs, flowers and fauna, guests will be able to enjoy nine dishes inspired by the area's natural bounty.

Chef Brad Carter and his partner Holly Jackson opened Carters of Moseley in 2010 and it won a Michelin star in 2015.

Carter said the move would give the team a chance to "think outside the box" with around 75% of produce used in the menu grown in and around the new dining space.

"We've always flirted with the idea of building a restaurant at Westlands with Will Boers the owner and operator," he added

"Every time we visited for inspiration days at Westlands, it always crossed my mind how good it would be to take Carters there, and now it's a reality.

"Having worked with Will and his family for over 13 years, showcasing all of their amazing produce and helping develop some of the products along the way - it seems so right to take the restaurant to them and create something completely unique and unmissable."

Bookings are now open for the Westlands restaurant.

Carters at Westlands has been designed by 2G Design and Build.
