Northcote senior sous chef Danny Young has been promoted to the role of head chef, under executive chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen.
Young has worked his way up the ranks, having joined the kitchen in 2010 as an apprentice, and won the Young National Chef of the Year competition in 2018.
In an email from the hotel, he was described as a "loyal and long-serving member of the Northcote kitchen brigade" and "an integral part" of the hotel's annual Obsession gastronomic event.
Northcote in Langho, Lancashire, is a four-red-AA-star, 26-bedroom hotel with a Michelin-starred restaurant. The property is part of the Stafford Collection and a member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Legend Collection.
