Brookwood Partnership wins first school meals deal in North of England

Education caterer Brookwood Partnership has won a £300,000 school meals deal in Manchester, its first in the region after establishing its presence in the North of England last year.

The independent school caterer will deliver food services to pupils and teachers at Greenbank Preparatory School in Cheadle Hulme near Manchester as part of a new three-year contract.

Brookwood said it made the move up north following requests from school Bursars to bring its services to the region.

Business development manager for the north, Maggie Steed has been tasked with sourcing new business.

Sue Parfett, managing partner, commented: "Having been born in Yorkshire, I was very keen to see Brookwood expand its borders into a region I know very well.

"With the number of opportunities available, requests for our services and our success in the South, it made business sense to start to operate in the North. We are all very excited to have won our first contract in the region and judging by the interest we've received, it won't be long before we see further contract gains."
