Student and staff catering contract at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Barbican, London EC2

Situated in the heart of the City of London, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Barbican Centre are owned, funded and managed by the City of London Corporation. The Cultural Quarter alliance between the Guildhall School and the Barbican will continue to develop with the launch of our new cinemas in Autumn 2012 and the completion of Milton Court in 2013.

In tandem with these developments we wish to appoint a catering partner with creativity, flair and imagination to develop and enhance the good quality, profitable catering services to our 800 full-time students and 650 full and part-time staff population across a number of buildings on the Barbican estate. The contract will commence in April 2013.

Our preferred company will be selected on the basis of experience, financial standing and proven track record in the operation of cafes, hospitality and bars in the education and business and industry sectors.
