Hilton Brighton Metropole relaunches its Waterhouse Bar & Terrace
Hilton Brighton Metropole has relaunched its Waterhouse Bar & Terrace following major renovation works.
The new venue, which takes its name from the hotel's architect Alfred Waterhouse, has also introduced new menus by executive chef Anthony Molnar and cocktails by head barman Gyorgy Piros.
Local interior designers and architects DesignLSM were responsible for the renovation, which took inspiration from private members' clubs and grand bistros.
Features include a marble-topped bar with wood panelling on the walls, a mix of contemporary and traditional styles with low-hanging pendant lighting, modern chairs and leather-studded booths.
The menu of classic bar food is influenced by the property's coastal location and includes traditional English sandwiches, larger dishes such as the Waterhouse gourmet burger, and desserts. A selection of ‘Afternoon Tea by the Sea' is also on offer.
As well as a range of spirits, wines and beers the Waterhouse Bar & Terrace has a large gin collection.
