Peter Bramich becomes HCIMA president

Peter Bramich has been named as the HCIMA's president 2006-07.

Bramich is the director and general manager of the 36-bedroom Deans Place hotel in Alfriston, East Sussex.

He takes over the year-long position from Robin Morden, head of sales costing at Compass Group UK & Ireland.

Bramich said he felt "privileged" to take on the role at such a busy time in the association's history.

The HCIMA is currently developing a framework of management qualifications for the profession, which is scheduled to be launched in the autumn.
