The Park Inn Heathrow renamed Park Inn Hotel & Conference Centre
The Park Inn Heathrow has been renamed as the Park Inn Hotel & Conference Centre, London Heathrow as part of an on-going multimillion-pound refurbishment of the property.
The new name reflects the hotel's extensive conference and meeting facilities, with 41 meetings rooms, two business centres and a main hall for up to 700 delegates in the main conference hall.
Operated by the Rezidor Hotel Group, the hotel is currently undergoing work to improve the façade of the property, at a cost of £500,000, with the addition of new cladding and signage.
A further £1.6m is being used to refurbish 258 bedrooms in the largest wing of the hotel, while 125 bedrooms have already been upgraded with new curtains and décor.
Nick Campbell, general manager at the Park Inn Hotel & Conference Centre said: "The hotel by its own admission has needed a certain level of refurbishment but the investment we are making will exceed all expectations. The first phase is just a small portion of what can be expected over the next six months and we are confident that we will once again assume our rightful position as a leading force to be reckoned with in the area."
Plans for a second phase of refurbishments at the hotel will be announced shortly.
