Von Essen boss Davis sees holding rise to £85m

The Von Essen hotel group has published annual accounts showing that chairman and founder Andrew Davis has a holding worth £85m, up from £55m the previous year. The accounts came in the week the group won the Knight Frank Award for Outstanding Excellence and Innovation at Condé Nast Johansen's Awards 2007. It was praised by the judges in particular for transforming New Park Manor in the New Forest into a leading luxury spa destination.
