Ingrid Chen appointed to new brand strategy and marketing role at Rosewood Hotel Group

Ingrid Chen has been appointed to the newly created role of vice president of brand strategy and marketing at the Rosewood Hotel Group.

She will be based at Rosewood's headquarters in Hong Kong, reporting directly to Joanna Gunn, chief brand officer.

Chen has nearly 20 years' experience in marketing, brand and business development, having held senior leadership positions at Joyce, Saint Laurent and Ralph Lauren.

She was most recently sales and marketing director at Dyson, where she led the Singapore-based technology company on strategy, equity and sales management.

Gunn said: "I look forward to partnering with Ingrid; her leadership and wealth of experience will greatly contribute to our global strategy and expansion across our collection of our brands.

It comes after Rosewood appointed Joerg Zobel as chief operating officer earlier this month.

Rosewood Hotel Group operates 46 hotels, resorts and private members clubs and currently has 38 projects under development, including the Chancery Rosewood in London which is now due to open in 2025.
