Kerb and Peppermint named catering partners at Dreamland Margate

Street food operator Kerb and concert bar business Peppermint have been appointed catering partners at Dreamland Margate in Kent.

Kerb and Peppermint are teaming up with Levy UK + Ireland, the sports, leisure and hospitality arm of Compass Group UK & Ireland, to create the offer, and the three will oversee catering for the venue's private and corporate bookings.

Kerb will continue to support local traders who already work at the family-friendly amusement park and live entertainment venue and will also bring in new street food brands.

The full-line up of street food operators is set to be released in spring 2024, in time for the reopening of Dreamland Margate after the winter.

Peppermint will be the event and concert bar operator at the theme park, which welcomed over 25 artists this year including Sir Tom Jones, Primal Scream and the Happy Mondays.

Dreamland Margate spreads its calendar between an outdoor summer season and an indoor concerts and events winter season.

Eddie Kemsley, chief executive of Dreamland Margate, said: "We are all delighted to be teaming up with Levy UK + Ireland partners, Kerb and Peppermint.

"This partnership will take our food and drink offer to the next level, providing all our visitors, corporate guests, and event goers with an even more eclectic and diverse range of choices. We can't wait to get this party started!"

The value of the contract was not disclosed.
