Searcys to offer panoramic event catering at Horizon 22 in London

Event caterer Searcys has secured a contract with the newly-launched Horizon 22 at 22 Bishopsgate in the City of London.

Horizon 22, which opened in September 2023, is believed to be Europe's highest free public viewing gallery and is located on Level 58 of 22 Bishopsgate, a 62-storey building with 1.3 million sq ft of office space.

Searcys will manage all catering and event sales at the 8,800 sq ft panoramic venue, which is available for exclusive event hire for up to 280 seated guests and 500 standing.

Clients will be able to host fashion shows, product launches, seated dinners and wedding receptions.

The venue has been equipped with two LED screens, 4.6m and 6.6m, as well as an acoustic sound system suitable for live music and presentations.

Paul Jackson, managing director of Searcys, said: "We are incredibly proud to have been chosen to launch Horizon 22's exclusive events offering, pairing our expertise in hosting one-of-a kind events with the unparalleled citywide views on offer at Horizon 22. Joining our collection of landmark locations across London and beyond, we look forward to welcoming guests."

Searcys was founded in 1847 and offers event catering at over 15 venues across the UK, including the Gherkin, the Barbican and Battersea Power Station.

It received the Event Caterer of the Year award at the 2022 Foodservice Cateys.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
