The Small Holding appoints Suzi-Mona Milne as restaurant manager
Suzi-Mona Milne has joined the Green Michelin-starred Small Holding in Kent as restaurant manager.
Milne studied Applied Linguistics at the University of Portsmouth and started her career in hospitality at high street chains including Côte Brasserie, before moving into a general manager role at the 200-cover village pub and brasserie, the King's Arms in Prestbury.
In 2021, she moved to Tofino in Canada to pursue her passion for wine. She then became restaurant manager at the Pointe Restaurant in Wickaninnish Inn, a Relais and Chateaux property, where she oversaw a team of 46.
Milne is currnetly completing her WSET Level 4 Diploma.
At the Small Holding, she will report directly to owners Will and Matt Devlin and oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, manage budgets, recruitment and team development.
The Small Holding is a kitchen, farm and 36-cover restaurant in the village of Kilndown that has been serving home-grown tasting menus since 2018.
From next month, prices for the Full Acre (eight course) and Half Acre (five course) menus will increase from £85 to £95 and from £65 to £75 in line with "rising prices from producers and suppliers".
