Amadeus partners with Champagne Lanson to ‘elevate dining experiences'

29 November 2023 by

Catering company Amadeus has partnered with Champagne house Lanson with the aim of upgrading the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) group venues' dining and event experiences.

The partnership extends across the NEC portfolio which owns and operates the indoor sporting venue Utilita Arena Birmingham and conference centre ICC Birmingham, both in central Birmingham, as well as exhibition centre Resorts World Arena based on the NEC site in Solihull.

Collectively, the group holds over 750 events a year, welcoming over seven million visitors.

As part of the new partnership, Amadeus worked with the 263-year-old Champagne house to provide exclusive ranges and create point of sale activity including a champagne bike, which the team rolled out at their venues and events.

Laura Dawson, brand ambassador at Champagne Lanson, said: "The partnership represents a union of shared values and a mutual passion for excellence. This collaboration is more than a business venture; it's a celebration of the finer things in life."

Marc Frankl, food and beverage director at Amadeus, said: "Partnerships are vital to our success, and we are thrilled to welcome Champagne Lanson into the Amadeus family.

"The synergies between our values at Amadeus and Champagne Lanson in both customer satisfaction and high-quality will undoubtedly provide our guests across our venues with elevated dining and event experiences."

The news of the partnership comes as Amadeus announced last month it secured £3m worth of contracts across two sporting venues in Scotland, one of which will see the caterer deliver all the tournament catering requirements for the Genesis Scottish Open golf tournament from 2023 to 2026.
