Chamarré Grande Reserve wines from Thierry's
Grande Reserve is exclusively available to the on-trade from Chamarré and comprises two white and three red wine varieties.
Described as refreshing yet complex, the wines are made from grapes selected from classic French wine regions and are aged between six and 12 months in oak barrels.
The collection includes: Chardonnay (abv 12.5%), Viognier (abv 13%), Cabernet Sauvignon (abv 12.5%), Syrah (abv 13%) and Pinot Noir (abv 12.5%), with a Sauvignon Blanc planned for release this spring.
The fresh, crisp Chardonnay features butter, toast and vanilla notes with citrus and tropical aromas. The fragrant and delicate Viognier is a blend of white grapes from the Northern Côtes du Rhône and the South of France and displays hints of honeysuckle and tropical fruit, along with a finish of toasted vanilla.
A medley of spice and fruit flavours with a black truffle accent characterise the Syrah, while the deep and velvety Cabernet Sauvignon combines rich autumn flavours with fresh spring notes.
The Pinot Noir is a blend of grapes from Corsica, Savoy and Burgundy AOC. This delicate wine has a nose of mellow red fruits and violets, a palate of raspberries and liquorice, and a long mineral finish.
