Fennel-based Sicilian condiment from iB Foods

Delicate wild fennel grown in areas around Sicily and the south of Italy is used to make iB Food's new condiment.

Based on a Mediterranean recipe used by poor fishermen when they caught fresh sardines, the ingredients are taken from the Sicilian countryside and include pine nuts, anchovies and sultanas.

The condiment can be served with a variety of fish, including salmon and mackerel, and is also suitable for pasta and risotto recipes along with saffron and tomatoes. It is supplied ambient in a porcelain-lined 400g tin, in cartons of six.
