The Italian Riviera range is the latest addition to the Tastes of the World range from Beacon Foods.
Based on popular Mediterranean recipes, the range includes slowly-cooked Chargrilled Pepper Compote made with red and yellow peppers, courgettes, onions and black olives.
Then there's Slow-cooked San Marzano Tomato Chutney, made with the sweet plum-like San Marzano tomatoes from Sicily, and Roasted Ratatouille, which uses a traditional Mediterranean recipe of red and green peppers, courgettes, onions and aubergines roasted with Umbrian olive oil and tomatoes from Tuscany.
Sicilian antipasto relish Caponata, made with aubergines, onions, Italian tomatoes and olives gently cooked with baby capers, sugar and Umbrian olive oil, is described as having an exotic aroma and taste.
Pepperonata is a mix of sweet peppers, onions and tomatoes cooked in Umbrian olive oil with garlic, and Barmarked Courgettes with Lemon and Rosemary are delicately flavoured with Umbrian olive oil and salt and have a rich caramel taste.
Each recipe is supplied in 1kg tubs or modified atmosphere packaging.
