Brakes has added five traditional individual puddings to its frozen range, including a sticky toffee pudding with dates and muscovado sugar, comprising a sponge topped with a toffee sauce made using West Country cream.
An apple and caramel brioche bread-and-butter pudding is coated in toffee sauce made using West Country double cream, and the caramel and apple pudding is a sponge topped with Bramley apples and a caramel sauce.
Another addition is a cherry Bakewell pudding made with almond sponge topped with French morello cherries and raspberry jam.
Completing the new range is the spiced plum pudding, a light almond butter sponge topped with plums and smothered in a spiced red wine sauce. All come in packs of 12.
Also new are the 170g Premiere Chocolate Pudding made to a traditional recipe using 70% cocoa Belgian chocolate and coated in Belgian chocolate sauce, and three additional ice-cream flavours - blackcurrant, peach and strawberry - made with 30% fruit pur‚e and packed in individual insulated tubs. The chocolate pudding is supplied in cases of 12 and the ice-cream comes in cases of 60 x 80ml.
