A cake in the hand
To capitalise on the burgeoning "eat now" snack cake category, which is worth £200 million, McVitie's Cake Company has launched seven cakes, as well as a selection of muffins and flapjacks.
The range comprises: McVitie's Chunky Choc Chip - a moist hand-baked muffin, full of chocolate chips. McVitie's Blueberry Buster a hand-baked muffin full of juicy blueberries.
Go Ahead! Toffee Temptation - a reduced fat snack full of real toffee pieces and sticky toffee bits - 90 per cent fat free.
Go Ahead! Chocolate Indulgence - a muffin full of chocolate chips - 90 per cent fat free.
Jaffa Muffin - a hand-baked flapjack full of fruit pieces and raspberry favour.
Syrup Jack - a hand-baked flapjack made with golden syrup.
Muffins available in cases of 12 and flapjacks in cases of 24.
