A long life the organic way

With the UK organic food market growing dramatically at 40 per cent a year, Pritchitt Foods has launched an organic, long life, single portion beverage whitener.

Organic Millac Maid, accredited by the Soil Association, can be served with organic tea and coffee. Available in packs of 120 x 14ml portions.

A total of 54 per cent of consumers can't tell the difference between Millac Maid and fresh milk and, of those who can, 50 per cent prefer Millac. In blind tastings of Millac Maid versus UHT milk, 71 per cent prefer Millac.

These were the results of research conducted by Campbell Daniels Marketing Research.

Millac Maid and Half Fat Millac Maid can be used in tea and coffee, while Cafe Maid is a coffee creamer, which is lower in calories and fat than real cream.

Portion whiteners are available in boxes of 120 and 240 portions and can be stored at ambient temperature.

A free Millac Maid taste tube of portion whiteners is available.

Millac Gold, the unsweetened alternative to cream, can be used in both sweet and savoury cooking as it never splits during cooking and whips up to three times its volume - 50 per cent more than dairy cream.

What's more, it has a long, ambient shelf life.
